2019 RENEWAL OPENS JAN 1ST
The current Monday and Thursday night schedule can be found here.
Those who enjoy the training sessions are encouraged to join the club and represent the club at various races and events.
We have introduced an online membership system. Please feel free to use this to join us!
Those that are members of other clubs are of course more than welcome to join our training sessions – in the spirit of mutual running camaraderie. We would however ask that if this this to be a regular thing then you join as a Training Member (see the current Membership FAQ’s document for more details) so as to make a small contribution to the benefits you get from being with the training groups.
There is an expectation that senior runners compete in a variety of races throughout the year, from the weekly local parkrun in Porthcawl, to the Gwent League Cross Country, to the Castle’s Relay, to various races across most distances. A full list of events can be found on the our Senior Events page, plus on the Welsh Athletics website while runners are reminded of forthcoming events at training nights. As a competing club we expect all members to put themselves forward to represent the club.
